Bishop Matthew C. Haskell, Jr., was educated at The Philadelphia Montgomery Christian Academy, Community College of Philadelphia, Eastern Baptist Theological School of Ministry and later attended The Philadelphia Theological Seminary.
In November 1989 Bishop Haskell was installed as the Pastor of The Cana Galilee Baptist Church where he served for 15 years. In 2005 God led him to establish The Prevailing Church International, which is one church in two locations; in Philadelphia, PA and New Castle, DE. Bishop Haskell's emphasis is to help people develop their Faith, Family, Finances and Future. Bishop Haskell operates in the Prophetic and his life's mission is to snatch people from the very gates of hell and get them Delivered, Developed and Deployed into ministry.
Bishop Haskell serves as The Bishop of Protocol of the Association of Independent Ministries under the leadership of Bishop I.V. Hilliard.
Bishop Haskell is happily married to Pastor Monica Haskell and is the proud father of three children: Lauren Nicole, Shawn Eric and Matthew Christian III.
